My Mother sent this to my Dad when he was in Vietnam. He still keeps it on his dresser. Sweetest damn thing.

I created Everyday Artifacts as a result of a 4Culture Special Projects Grant. It has allowed me to make sculptures and present them in a way that places them in the same context as artifacts, or natural history objects. As I worked on this project, I started to perceive everyday objects like artifacts. I am interested in how objects contain history and what they say about the person or culture they are apart of.
